Hi Tom: Most bantams these days are not "true" bantams. You may already know all this but others reading the post nay not. A true bantam has no standard size relatives. Bantams that are not true are "Designer chickens" developed either from "Sports" (freaks) or cross breeding. The background breeding may include many things besides the original standard breed. I don't know it your X-breeds will have sex-link offspring's or not but it would be an interesting project. You would have to keep careful notes.
