Anne,
you will really enjoy having your Guineas. I have 4 I have had them now for 2 years. they do get loud just as the sun is going down and had Susan has told you when they see others on the property they do not know or even a dog. I have not seen any snakes, ticks, really to many bugs on my place between them and the chickens. I have them houses right now with my chickens so i can get them used to coming in at night. We are getting ready here in a few month to move to some bigger property so I want them to be used to being locked up and coming back in at night so it will be easier transition for them when we do move. So I can continue doing the lock up for the few weeks we are there so they know they belong there.
have fun with yours and make sure you get pics.
deana
I have 2 pearls, a lavender and a white one.
