Mahahahaha, sometimes your day just doesn't go the way you planned. Ok, make that *my* day, the way *I* planned. So Mr. Percy was supposed to make dinner arrangements with some friends and he brings the phone to me saying "Ruth wants to talk to you". Uh, oh!  Baby ducks, and chickens, and turkeys at the Piggly Wiggly, all just adoringly darling, and on and on. Ruth talks a LOT and uses a ton of adjatives in every sentence. After about 5 minutes I cave!  "Ok, get me 3 ducks, different colors, and a bag of whatever they are feeding them." I honestly think I said it just to shut her up! At dinner I gave her my $32.00 and afterward we picked up our adorable new baby ducks. Oh, wait, there's more! I'd asked what kind of ducks they were. "Ruin ducks". R u i n I can hear the store guy in the background spelling it for her. What? What kind of duck is that? I went to the computer right quick and put in <ruin duck> "Did you want to search for rouen duck instead" the computer says? Yes, computer, I believe I do! They sure are cute.  Georgia |
