Yes, that was what "these" referred to.  It's just not something I'd ever seriously considered using, but what the heck, nothing else has ever worked.  I might give it a shot if it gets really bad again.

use what? not sure what you mean with "these", if you mean the ear mite drops, well, they are a pyrethrin solution, so not sure why one wouldn't use them.
