For all your chicken's clothing needs, go to www.chickensaddlesanddiapers.webs.com Once they begin to sit the nest they are no longer producing eggs.  And typically they do not poo in the nest, they hold it until they get up to get a drink or a bit of food.  Give her some fertile eggs so she can get on with her life.  If you don't, this pattern will repeat itself over and over. Then ate a little and drank a littel then went back to her nest....she has not produced an egg today. Now the one chicken that I mentioned that went AWOL....she shows back up after 3 days. She just sits on the ground by the coop doing nothing. We are looking under the house to see if there are signs of eggs...etc. I took some pictures please let me know if something looks out of the ordinary....thanks, Christi
