Gee, I never thought of telling my 'troubles' to the chickens.  All I ever do is say "Thank you for the egg", and for the 2 pens that are not producing any I say "Hey, where's my eggs"?

My blankity blank dog got in the duck pen this morning and ate all 5 of the Call duck eggs that were in the nest.  The dog is in her crate for the next 24 hours with a blanket over it so I don't have to look at her wretched self. 

There will be some changes made in the pen access !
