I ended up having to put some heat in the coop- just enough to keep waterers from freezing. It's still uber cold in there! Last night all the Layers were on roosts cuddled up against one another. But then again, it's almost 8am and still only 22 degrees out! Brr!
I have been breaking the ice on the duck buckets, as well as the one rubber bucket in the Layer yard. The chickens were jealous the ducks had rubber buckets. ;)
