When we got our 2 white araucana's from a chap in the next village, he told us he shows his araucanas, he said if they don't come as clean as he wants he gets the stuff you use on (white) net curtains.
Not sure what it is called as I HATE net curtains & have not used them for years, but I did used to smoke back in the days when we did have net curtains & boy I tell you this stuff got them white, & in one of my chook books it clearly explains that you can use this stuff on chickens. Jane & co.
