Ha! It seems more and more people are starting to do this. They like having a rooster around, but don't want one that's so big he hurts the hens, so they opt for a Banty. The hens don't seem to care, and yes, it can be very funny to watch! "Ride 'em Cowboy! We once had a couple of full sized hens and one very dedicated banty rooster who would hang on for dear life, even if the hen decided to go take a jog around the barn. I do have to say, we do feel sorry for the rooster sometimes! Especially is he's a kind sort that hunts bugs for the hens...you'd think the least they could do is stand still from time to time! Hee!
