I've got 4 hens that I've had for about a year. Last summer, we did not have an issue with mites. However, I think that my hens have outgrown their dusting pan. So, I just went to Walmart and purchased the smallest plastic pool they had and am going to put an adequate amount of DE in the bottom for the hens to dust themselves in. I was planning on dusting the hens individually with DE when I place the pool in their run this evening. Will this take care of the mite problem?
