Last night I took a hit from a fox. Got my Brown Leghorns (would have laying in the early Fall), a pair of Cochins and a couple of "painted Easter chicks" my feed guy gave me.
When I went down this eve to take a better look, I found a pile of large feathers that didn't "fit" any of my birds. Could it have killed/snatched one from somewhere, like my neighbor and brought it with it?
This eve my husband and his cousin were out doing yard work and the damn fox was back. Just ignored them.
I did put a radio in one of the houses. We are getting ready to build a new house and put it up closer to where we live for my own peace of mine.
