Doug, Go get poultry dust or poultry spray at your grain elevator or farm store. Even if you do not see anything and the bald spot is caused from something else, prevention in winter is a good idea. If you use sevin you have to throw out eggs for awhile were if you get poultry spray you can still use your eggs. Twin City Poultry Supply has an organic poultry spray.

As suggested by one other membr of this group ; the Adams flea tick spray for dogs works great . I also use Adams flea tick dip to make a mix and spray my birds (i have in the past dipped them in it -- not putting head under).
