I know that taking care of parrots and macaws are a lifetime commitment,
so I would err on the side of safety, not to let mine fly about free
outdoors. I think Parrots and Macaws are domesticated to a point, and
would not do well outdoors on their own, unprotected. Also, the fact
that a Macaw or parrot could tear up a house, would not be a favorable
factor in letting them run free in the neighborhood. JMHO.
