Predators live on what ever looks good for dinner. Chickens look good, and are easy prey.

Jaguars and leopards------well, no we haven't gotten "there" yet. I suppose there's always a first time.......on the other hand, our climate's not their style. I hope!
I suppose the black panthers probably are breeding and starting to spread, just like the bears did, as the land gets wilder around here. And there are plenty of deer to support them. I understand that panthers and cougars normally primarily live on deer.
