Jaguars and leopards------well, no we haven't gotten "there" yet. I suppose there's always a first time.......on the other hand, our climate's not their style. I hope!
I suppose the black panthers probably are breeding and starting to spread, just like the bears did, as the land gets wilder around here. And there are plenty of deer to support them. I understand that panthers and cougars normally primarily live on deer.

I live in Erie County, just north of you, and I saw a black panther in
Sept 2000 just yards off my property. If you've got one now, they are
breeding. And they aren't cougars; we have those, too, but there has
never been a documented black cougar. Jaguars and leopards, OTOH...
I advise caution; big cats rarely fear humans.
