You are getting pullet eggs, not wind eggs? It is normal for pullet eggs to be smaller than the eggs they will lay in a month or so. Wind eggs are usually much smaller.

I wouldn't have thought to do that because these tiny eggs I'm getting are the size of our silkie's eggs. Same size, but they are yolkless. So maybe they were her early eggs without a yolk? And not what you're writing about?
