We live in California and always order from Ideal Hatchery. Last year we ordered 60 day-old chicks and every one of them arrived alive and they are all still alive and kicking. This year we ordered another 60 and 2 of them didn't make it past the first 24 hours. The other 58 are doing great. We have always had very good luck from Ideal.
