[CHICKENS-101] Ordered my first chickens!

 

I just placed an order for Silkies, Frizzled Chochins and Polish in a variety of colors.

They should arrive around March 18 or so.

That gives me plenty of time to get ready for them.

Many of my husband's coworkers have expressed an interest in keeping back yard chickens, so I hope I can find homes for the extra hens, since the bantams aren't sexed. I'm stealing myself to the idea of eating the roosters.

I still want to get some Ameraunas and Black Copper Marans, but those won't be ready until much later in the spring.

This is exciting!
