I'd make sure the pellets are big so they do nnot eat them.

I got to really like the kitty pellets back when I was raising a few litters of feral abandoned/orphaned kittens. I've been thinking when I get my serama coop and pens done I will try the pellets with them to try to cut down on dust. They'll have dishes of sandbox sand for their dust baths.
