I saw a list where roosters were rated on aggressiveness. After we got rid of the white leghorn, I still wanted a rooster. I like to hear crowing in the morning. I bought a black silkie roo. He's gentle almost to a fault. The hens push him around. I'm beginning to see some signs of maturation. He chased a hen a few feet once.

I've had good roos and bad ones too. The bad ones either got sold or eaten. I won't put up with it here
