lol he shot at it, and missed, oooops! But in his defense, he was pretty shocked it was a mountain lion, and that the thing just set and watched him, and trying to hold a spot light and aim isn't too easy either. We are ranchers, and it's legal here to protect your stuff. We think this one was a young one not good at hunting to come try and get the chickens, of course there was a pen full of mini courses of their favorite meat not 100 feet away (my miniature horses with two young foals), and I think that scared me more, and the fact he wasn't scared of people, (he set and watched my hubby) and I have two young boys, one of which is always outside playing on his bike or scooter.
