[CHICKENS-101] Re: Egg hatching

 

Yeah, the forcasted low night temps will be a bit higher over the next few nights, but I figure it's best to have the heat lamp in there anyway. I'm sure it will get colder soon. Most years we have lower temps. We seem to be a bit warmer than normal this year.
I plan to keep the heat lamp in place and adjust it as needed. I won't want the chicks getting chilled.
I haven't noticed her weight dropping so I guess she is eating and drinking well.
All is well so far. Hopefully we will have 7 new chicks hatching in the middle of November :-)
Thanks for your suggestions. This is our first time hatching chicks.
