We took our two grandkids to a local farm for their pumpkin patch. Found the pumpkins out in the field. They picked out theirs. Then we went over to where they had the swings set up in the hay barn. They played a while, saw the calves and as we walked up around to pay for the pumpkins, they had a small cage with two baby chicks. Probably a week or so old. They were getting feathers. The funny part was a dog from the farm was sitting right next to the cage just staring at the chicks. If you came around and blocked her view, she just moved over, sat down and stared. It was hilarious. She was absolutely intent on watching those chicks. My daughter said she was thinking they would make a good snack. Haha
