I hadn't had a clue that my mare Tempte' (short for "Temptation") would do something like that - it was pretty awesome. I was so proud of her! I've seen a horse deal with a dog who's owner wouldn't listen to everyone in the area's warning them about containment laws - after barking & pestering at the horse's heels for long enough, the dog finally went flying as high & far as a kite from just one well-placed (and well deserved!) kick by the horse.
It's kind of fun to watch my Guineas play chase & "peck on" small rodents, but Nubbie is the only one I've watched chasing a cat off when he finally determined that it had come a little too close to the grazing flock. Cat was harmless to the flock & just after field mice & such - but, Nubbie
apparently believes there are lines to be drawn, LOL!!!!

Aren't they fun to watch as they chase and pound the trespasser to the ground or kick them to Timbucktoo.
