I don't think her eyes are blue? But what I do not get is this, How come she looks like a he why do they have all these colors? I thought females were plain janes So anyway. Does anybody know what they are really? The father is a Golden Laced Wyandotte The boy chicks end up like this with a couple baby blue flight feathers and some small amount of baby blue on their other feathers. But no where do I see any pictures of females that have shinny feathers or color like that. And the color is more of a aqua on the girls but on the boys it's full baby blue which can't be seen in this picture. So far I have 5 girls that look like her, and two boys like the one below. What is odd is that the boys feathers don't come in till about 3 months old. on the upper shoulders.
This is him as a baby, why would it take so long for these feathers to come in? Each one of these "blue" males for some reason, don't feather in like the others at all.
