I agree, could be coccidiosis or something else chronic, I do give mine a
couple drops of the injectable ivermectin on a bit of bread for parasites.
Since your hen seems rather sick, it would be a good idea to give her an
antibiotic. I have never injected them with an antibiotic. I would use a
broad spectrum, if it's pills I hide them in a little bit of soft bread and
stick it down their throat, if it's liquid, I use a bit of bread, or two,
and dribble it on there, then let the bread dry out for a half hour or so
and then roll it into balls.
please let us know what you end up doing and how she does. Hoping for good
news.
