Re: [CHICKENS-101] OT odd and gross question.

Our sector of texas is sparse to say the least. We don't have a vet even in our county and only 1 real live stock vet that about 90 mins away and I already disposed of her. Because I didn't want the maggots to get out.

I wonder too if they were a parasite that overtook her and killed her. I
think I would have taken one of the critters and had it checked out.
newborns can not withstand an overload of parasites and with them coming
from inside out like you discribed is sounds like they were there awhile.
