[CHICKENS-101] weather

 

Getting ready in a bit to go out and knock the sleet/ice/slush snow that is pouring from the sky, off my chicken pen fence covers. 

Tuesday early we had an ice storm come in;  Wed. morning I slid all the way out the barns before took off for school and I slid carefully to school.  Today, school officials decided not to repeat Wed.'s fiasco and close school.  Yay!  Snow day!  Yay!  Snow day!  

My chickens are going to be so happy to have me spend the day in the barns with them instead of at school!  Right now I am treating myself to coffee, computer, and my diapered serama Wheaties in bed, with the news on.
