[CHICKENS-101] Chicken treats and rooster songs

 

Well I'm sitting here not watching "the football game". So I'll just keep composing emails about the goings on around here to give this place some action. Lol
Today I decided to clean up some of my raised beds and give the weeds to the chickens. Now a year or so ago I was wishing I had more chickweed and less hensbit( because I'm allergic). Be careful what you wish for. Lol I have chickweed popping up in raised beds, containers, and my blackberry row. That's ok though it's choking out the hensbit.
So I gave the chickens chickweed for a treat. They loved it. All my roos are 1 year olds and they're so cute young gentlemen. Singing their little cooing songs getting the girls attention to eat the treats. While they stand aside and let the girls eat their fill. Chivalry isn't dead. Lol
