I also would apologize to any and all that may have taken offence at my raving. My criticism of Show chickens and those who are involved with them is more of a joke than actual trash talk. I am well aware of effort required and the real rewards of the hobby.
On the other hand my comments on the Rhode Island Red is no joke. The true breed is a dangerous animal. At least the rooster is, the hens are only hazardous. True RIR roosters are much in demand by the Pre-owned Automobile Parts trade as security. They are easier to keep than the canine variety.
