At 6:15am, she clucks loudly, you get up and let her out. You have trained her to wake you every day! LOL! I agree with George, you are fortunate that she is not waking you at 4 or 5 am. :) You will have to reprogram your brain to love the clucking and sleep thru it. LOL!

OMG! The past two mornings my 4 month old Barred Rock has been clucking very very loudly. Loud enough to wake me in the front of the house. Loud enough to wake my none too happy 19 year old DD.
I've been getting up and letting them out of the coop when the clucking starts. I know many people arise at 6:15am, but I go to sleep very late and that is just way too early to start my day. Big crocodile tears for me... lol.
Has anyone else experience a loud chicken and what do you suggest???? I had no idea a chicken would be so loud. Please keep in mind that the Barred Rock, Nugget, is my favorite so I cant eat her.
