Congratulations to both of you! She did an excellent job with wins; it's a lot of work conditioning and planning ahead. It's better to be bit by the show bug than the peer pressure bug and I am so happy that your dd is taking her poultry projects serious!!! Good for her that she is interested in silkies!!! :) :) :)

Our county fair is now over. It stayed in the triple digits until last night when it finally rained. Today it was in the mid 90's and felt so much better but we're getting our 100's back starting tomorrow.
Any way my dd got 10 blues 5 purples and a reserve champion on her bantams, 3 reds and a blue on her large fowl, and a red and blue on her ducks.
She sold six of her birds tonight to other 4Hers and used part of the money to buy herself a nice pair of pigeons. Getting her silkies is next on her list. Pray for us guys, I think she officially has the show bug. Lol
