Maybe the new mix isn't a good food or what they need. Mine eat everything. Bless their fuzzy little butts. Mine also stay on the chick and game feed w/ oyster shell on the side. Cath

fwiw - I am doing the switch over gradually, mixed with the growth crumbles (just like I handle the dogs when I switch to a new food). For whatever reason they have decided not to eat the new "mix". Being a newbie at chickens I sure don't want them to starve but I also don't want to spoil them like the dogs have been spoiled.
Will they start to eat the new "mix" soon or do I need to go and get another bag of growth?? Geesh - hens with 'tude
