You might try it Heather, but I wouldn't count on it working. If he is attacking the children I'd make him go away without hesitation. Mean chickens will go for the eyes in a heartbeat. What if one of the girls tripped and fell in the chicken yard. That thing would be all over her like a cat on a cricket.

will that work for a young roo who was raised by my young daughters and now for some reason chases them and attacks them. he is the same one that won grand champion at the county fair. he just started that and we are not sure if maybe he was teased. im not sure why but he is my 4yr old daughters roo and because he is a small dutch bantam he is not big enough to eat.
