Cath, that is such wonderful news! I am so happy that all went well and the prognosis is great!!
Just to cheer you up a bit, I think one of my Serama chicks is silky feathered!!! Now I have the best of both worlds. Of course I have to let it grow up a bit more before I can say for sure.
Rest, take care and we all hope to see your spunky self back here as soon as you can.
