Oh, me too.  I only know that huvoes means eggs because it would appear on restaurant menus.  I pronounce things as I see them so it was "hoo voos" to me.

I have a heck of a time speaking English without knowing Spanish! I think it means, "Would you like some eggs". Its like Easter over there as his kids run around the backyard looking for eggs.  His child found 6 as we were talking.
