No, Jake is my Australian Shepherd. He protects everyone and everything on our small farm. He sat by the silkie house for a long time last night after the dog was here. I'm hoping the gun scared him off for good. He got hugs and kisses which are his favorite.
The mutt and strays are another reason I can't let my girls free range. If that dog comes back he's DOA. I will not tolerate a dog that belongs to the drunks over the hill, or anyone elses dogs, trying to harm any animal on my property. When/if they do they have signed their death warrant.
