havent had the chance to post here for a while but used to live down your way...and I wouldnt leave the rats there under any circumstances.
I had one chew my foot one night while I was camping near sidmouth.
(Maybe they wanted to listen to the folk festival music too...:-)
They spread every disease found in the sewer, carry worms, eat livestock while its still breathing.
They'll have your birds too, no mistake.
They're only there cos they're hungry.
