I have a question about diatomaceous earth (DE). Am I right in understanding that this is good for the chickens to dust in - esp during the winter? It's very fine and I thought you or they weren't suppose to inhail it. So how do they dust?
In the past, because we couldn't always find it, we used "stall dry' which has DE in it - but also a clay mixture.
Suggestions/thoughts
Thanks in advance
Rita
