Ironically, although a lot of people in SW Ohio are from Kentucky,
Kentucky is the butt of some jokes. Where my family comes from, there
is a lot of poverty there, but a lot of my relatives have made something
of themselves there, too. Southeastern Kentucky is known for its
poverty, but it is a beautiful land, too.
