the bowls i have they make messes in but they get cleaned everyday 2 to 3x a day depending on how busy i am with the kids. i use bleach and wash them out. i do that to the pigs and dogs dishes too. the coolers i use for the chickens and pigs get bleached and cleaned everyday.
