They might have too much grease on them. Why not try poaching eggs?  In other words, crack the egg and drop the whole thing in boiling water until the yolk is solid.

My question for this time is this.  I know that mashed up boiled eggs make a good supplement feed for baby chicks.  Was wondering if it would be ok for them to just fry them and chop them up?  I HATE peeling boiled eggs.  Would the frying oil have any ill effects on them?
