Yes I can order them whenever but the problem is I can't find a hatchery that sells them at a minimum lower than 15 that has the breed, which is why im trying to buy from people vs. Hatcheries that cost $35 to ship chicks

The hatchery <darkeggs.com> has Welsummer chicks available now.  Is NOW when you wanted them?

That's about what I'd be looking for.  You like the one you use?  Have the brand name?  We have electricity 20 feet from where I now have the clean up station but it could be moved the 20 feet to be next to the power source.  We will have to poke around and see if we can figure out what kind of circuit that electrical outlet is on.  It just sticks up out of the ground on a pipe and has a gray box with 2 covered grounded receptacles.  We never use it and I keep it covered, mostly to prevent falling over it! 

I wasn't planning on using it for outside showering.    Just to be comfortable while washing and filling waterers.

How hot do you need the water?  I have a 110 volt "instant water
heater" that is not quite able to give a good shower.  It draws 30 amps
and needs its own circuit.  It is the kind you see under the sink in
some businesses for hand washing and stuff.

Heather, Divide your chickens into breeding pens and sell hatching eggs. There are several yahoo groups you can join, get to know people, and sell eggs on.  Sell eggs to 4-H youth and parents.  Sell hatching eggs on craigslist. Lots of places and opportunities. Cathryn

   

its 4am here and i was at the hospital most of the night with my 2yr old. she fell asleep at 4 and woke up at 8 with a 103.6 fever and i rushed her to the er. she has dwarfism and many other med conditions and im a very concerned mom. ill be up all day even though ive had no sleep and all. im used to it because not just the kids but my back pain gets me alot. i sit here onluine and read emails and look stuff up and figure out what i can do to help us make more money without me actually having to hire a sitter and leave for work.

we had some sunshine for 2 days now and its suposed to rain tomm and sunday and im mad now because i had planned on cleaning the coop while it was warmer out.
