PS All vaccination for mareks does is give them mareks and supposedly protect the birds from mareks cancer tumors. Why I do not vaccinate, my birds are bred resistant or they die. They die from it eventually anyways if stressed (molting, new birds, hot or extreme cold temps), why introduce another strain on the property. I have a strain/cross of reds where 3 were not resistant and they had to be put to sleep. I know now not to back breed the new reds to each other but to mine only.

I was afraid of that :-( Ugh. If she tests positive for Mareks, I think we have to go under quarantine right? But can't birds test a false positive for mareks if they have been vaccinated for it?
