I completely agree! Quarantine for at least month. After the month make some sort of a playpen (I use plastic garden netting) and put her in their so that the other girls can get use to her. After a week or so put her in the coop at night while the others are asleep and monitor them. I did this with my silkies and it worked. There was the whole pecking order which is natural but in time it eases up. I have two more silkies and plan on doing the same thing.
