I love it! I remember reading somewhere about actually having a container with a wire bottom, and something gone a bit rotten in it--the maggots would fall out the bottom and be snapped up by the chickens.
Mine followed me down to the nursery paddock today--the manure pile also happens to be there. They had a grand time scratching around the bottom. The filly was curious but cautious--wouldn't want to get too close to a velociraptor, now, would you?
