Re: [CHICKENS-101] [CHICKENS101] New Rooster/snow

Strange weather, more likely. The snow just behaves as temperature and subsequent precipitation make it... Remember, the Inuit have dozens of words for different types of snow!

My husband is from Memphis, not used to snow, and I had to take the snow-blowing job back from him after he came up to N.H. permanently. He understood the snow-blower itself well enough, but couldn't comprehend snow acting in different ways and thus needing to be blown differently from one storm to the next. Or that each snowfall needs to be cleared right away, as far back as possible, before it freezes! He was even going to try parking at the foot of our long driveway and have just a footpath up to the house... I pointed out that carrying all the feed and groceries up might be tough--not to mention that the oil truck didn't have that long a hose!
