Re: [CHICKENS-101] Re: Fw: Monsanto vs. the Monarchs

Diane, I am so sorry that things are not going well with the health of your dear daughter and husband.  Wish I could give you a break or hand and bring you a flavored latte with a sandwich.  You have a full platter.  With the up and down temperatures, are your chickens still laying?  My silkies and seramas are laying like crazy but my egg layers are only giving me 1 egg a day.
Sharon's ok; she's blunt sometimes, but I like her anyway.  There are storms brewing in many parts of the country - maybe the barometer changes are messing with us.

I thought this was a chatlist, not a classroom.

When I visit with friends, we talk about a lot of things besides just chickens.  After all, we're smarter than chickens and are concerned about a lot of things besides the next kernel of corn.  As humans, we are seriously concerned about the qualities of that kernel of corn, and how it got that way, and what to do about it.

Therefore, Monsanto vs. the Monarchs is right on topic.

No, I'm not in a good mood today.  I live at home in the country caring for a seriously retarded adult daughter who does not talk and a husband who is going downhill badly and cannot hear, and it's not going well today.  My chickens and other animals help keep me relatively sane.

But now nobody will say anything at all for fear of offending one person, who apparently does not know how to hit "delete".

And for some unknown reason, people on every single list I belong to, and there are quite a few, all seem to be out of sorts today.  And it's not even a full moon!
