Re: Re: [CHICKENS-101] Non GMO sources

My silkie and serama chicks and adults. I used their crumbs left in their tray troughs.  Now I am warmed back up I need to go out and feed and water.  After I feed them their treat, I pulled and trimmed carrots and turnips.  While finishing up the last batch a wind and drenching cold rain soaked me thru.  Think I will wash the carrots and bucket of potatoes I dug inside tonight.  There is still at a least a bushel of potatoes waiting for a warmer day to rinse off.

What were you feeding them to?

I heated/rare cooked liver, gizzards, and hearts, ground them in the blender then mixed them with feed and put it in treat trays feeders.  They were still licking the trays when I checked on the and everything was cleaned up.
