It was a hawk! I hadn't seen the cats around lately so I started thinking that maybe it wasn't the cat. I looked out my kitchen window Sunday just in time to see a hawk get my little baby rooster Cogburn. I ran out after it with my husband and we threw a rock at it which made it drop him. At least the hawk didn't get to eat him, but he was already dead. The weird part was that he grabbed him out of an area I had let get overgrown specifically so they would have protection. It is an old dog pen that has a lot of 6ft. tall weeds and pretty thick. I thought he would be ok from hawks. I found out I was wrong!EM
